EDMONTON FAQ 

Do you accept walk in appointments?

To offer the best service we are an appointment only boutique. To make an appointment you can book online or call the store on 780 761 0888. 

How many guests can I bring?

We offer private spaces for our brides and guests, which can comfortably seat up to FOUR guests. If you have up to 6 guests please reach out to us to see if our larger space is available. We also offer video calling for any guests who are unable to attend in person. 

Are we required to wear face masks?

Masks are not required however if you would prefer to take your appointment in a space where everybody is wearing a mask please feel free to reach out.  

Are we able to browse the dresses in person?

We are no longer allowing guests to browse the dresses in person however all of our gowns are shown online on our website. To help pre-select gowns we can set up a phone call prior to the booking with the bride. 

I'm not feeling well. What should I do?

If you are feeling unwell please kindly contact us to reschedule your appointment with us.

Do we have to remove our shoes upon entry?

To protect our bride's gowns we ask that everybody who enters to remove their shoes. We provide sanitized slip ons for your convenience or you can choose to go barefoot if you prefer. Any strollers can be stored at the front of the store. 

 

What is the price range of your bridal dresses?

Our bridal dresses range from approximately $1800- $6,000 with majority of the dresses between $2000-$4000.

Do you carry plus sizes?

Most of our sample sizes range from size 8-12, however, we do have a selection of gowns shown in sizes 16-24. We understand that one size doesn't fit all so our stylists use a few tricks to show each bride how the dresses will look when it fits like a glove. 

Do you sell dresses of the rack?

We have a sample sale twice a year where we sell our floor samples off the rack! If you have a short timeline however, some of our designers are able to rush their dresses, and may even carry a stock piece available for fast delivery. Please call the store for more information.

How long does a bridal appointment take?

Your private bridal consultation takes approximately 75 minutes with a personal stylist to help you! You won't be able to browse in person, however all of our dresses are shown on our website and we can set up a call beforehand to help you get started! We will start with about 5-8 gowns (more than that can be confusing to start!) and then we will select some more if we feel like you've missed out on a dress that will be perfect! 

Can we bring wine or champagne into the store to celebrate?

Unfortunately we do not allow outside beverages or alcoholic drinks in the store but we have a lot of close cute places to go celebrate with your group afterwards!

Do you price match?

Yes. We offer 100% price match guarantee within Canada from official retailers.

Is there parking?

Yes there is free parking behind the building! Just remember to bring in your license plate so we can register you before your appointment.

Masks are not required however if you would prefer to take your appointment with a consultant wearing a mask please do not hesitate to ask. 

Are we able to browse the dresses in person?

Yes you are! We cannot wait to share all of the stunning dresses in our bridal lounge with you. If you would prefer not to browse and have one of our professional stylists pull options for you we are more than happy to do that!

Please use the street parking in the area. There's usually lots available in front of our building. 

 

 

Bridal Gowns

How long will it take to to order a dress?

We recommend ordering your bridal dress with a minimum of 9 months prior to the wedding date (bridal gowns take approximately 5-8  months to be made). If the wedding date is less than 9 months away, please contact us and we can discuss how we may be able to help you.

What happens if I change my mind after ordering my dress?

All sales are final. There are no returns or exchanges. Should you choose to cancel your order, you can do so by forfeiting the deposit.

How much deposit do I need to put down to order my dress?

We require a 60% deposit at the time of purchase to place your order.

 

Fittings and Alterations

Will my dress need alterations?

The size you chose is a standard size based on individual designer’s size chart. (the garments are NOT made to your measurements) Therefore, alterations should be expected and will likely be required.

*Please remember our consultant can only recommend a size based on your measurements but the decision is ultimately yours!

Do you have a seamstress?

We have seamstress recommendations in the cities of Edmonton and Vancouver. Please schedule your 1st fitting at least 8-12 weeks before your wedding day.

How much will they cost?

We recommend budgeting approximately $400-900, however, certain styles could require more work and cost more.  You will be quoted a price for the alterations agreed to by you during your 1st fitting appointment and a full payment of the alterations cost will be required at the time of your 1st fitting.

What if I want to use my own seamstress?

You are not obligated to work with our recommended seamstress, however if you wish to have a quote provided by our seamstress, there will be a fee of $50/hour session.

Do I need to bring anything to my fittings?

1st fitting- Please bring your shoes and any undergarments you will be wearing to your fitting to ensure accurate fit.  You will be required to re-schedule your fitting if you do not have these items with you during your appointment.

Can I leave my dress at the store for storage?

Garments must be picked up within 30 days of notification of dress arrival.

If you have any concerns about the picked up garments, please let us know immediately after picking up.

Virtual Bridal Consultations

How do I book an appointment?

You can book your initial phone call consultation with one of our experienced consultants through our online booking system or contacting the store over email with your preferred date and time. This initial call will last approximately 30 minutes. 

What should I expect from the Video consultation? 

After choosing about 5-6 favourite dresses over the initial phone call, we will arrange a time for a Zoom video call to show you your dresses on mannequins in our store, and answer any questions you may have about them. This will last about 1 hour. 

 

Are you able to ship the dresses to me to try on at home? (Unavailable at this time)

Unfortunately not. At the moment we require a curbside pick up and drop off on specified dates for the At Home Try On Appointments.
