"Mathew and I met online and we chatted for a couple of weeks before meeting in person. Our first date was at the Ice Castles. Going in with no expectations, we had a great time and continued dating. After a year, he took me back to the ice castles and proposed.

My dress shopping experience was quick and easy. Novelle was my second dress shop stop and the experience was fantastic! My best friend surprised me with the Private Luxe Consultation and Jessica pulled out many different styles for me to try on. She was really attentive and observed what I liked and felt comfortable in. After narrowing down to 2-3 dresses, I said YES to the dress! When Jessica started talking about the dress after I said yes, I realized I picked out a Pronovias dress and it felt even more meant to be because I had always dreamed of having a Pronovias wedding gown.

At the beginning of the pandemic, Mathew and I were confident that our original wedding date in November would not be affected. However, both working in highly exposed environments, we realized our original plan will not work out safely. We planned out several options and finally decided on moving our date a month earlier and narrowed the guest list from 140 to 19 people, ourselves included. We had our ceremony on a green space in Crestwood looking out onto the River Valley and celebrated the night filling our bellies with delicious food.

It was an extremely chilly day yet one we will never forget. It was truly intimate. We were beyond grateful for everyone who shared this moment with us in person, or stopped by for a picture  or through Zoom. To make the most out of our pandemic wedding, we put on our dress and suit again in November to celebrate our original wedding date in the mountains. So much has changed but we are just happy to be cohorts for life."
