"Kevin and I met through mutual friends while I was in my first year of university, and he was in trade school. I remember he came to pick me up, and when he was outside he texted me saying that he's here and because I lived at my parent's house at the time, my Mom made him come in to meet them. I was so embarrassed. But Kevin held his own against both of my parents and I could tell that they could see what I saw in him.
Our first date together was skating on the lake at Rundle Park. I remember having so many butterflies....not only from him but because I'm a terrible skater. Made a great excuse to reach for his hand. We were absolutely inseparable from that first date.
Wedding dress shopping went by pretty quickly! Novelle was my first pick as I heard about them through colleagues that actually worked at Novelle in the past. Jessica made the entire experience for me. She was so helpful and understanding through the whole process. From seeing my dress for the first time (which was there for a pop up show and it was the last day!!) to countless fittings. She was extremely kind and helpful.
On our wedding day, our getting ready process started early, but our wedding wasn't until sunset. I remember thinking all day "I just can't wait to put my dress on" because I could see it hanging there for hours. And then once it was on I didn't want to take it off! Novelle helped me feel so beautiful and I'm so thankful that I was able to find my dress. Thank you Jessica, thank you Novelle!!"
