"Our love story began the traditional way- online. It was just a matter of time before Cupid's arrow would bring us together. It turned out that Terry went to the same high school as me. Terry was the grade ahead, but since we attended such a large school, we did not know each other. Terry lived 10 minutes away from me. We went to the same optometrist, orthodontist and dentist. It took a dating app to bring us together years later.

Our first date was at a movie. We then headed to a cafe that turned out to be a bubble tea place. We had no idea how to order off the menu as we both aren't really into bubble tea. We ended up with some very unpleasant drinks but were enjoyng the date so much that we didn't realize the cafe had closed. The staff had to ask us to leave. Right away we both realized that we were soulmates and the rest is history. 

I've always known that I wanted a ballgown for a wedding dress. My Mom and I went to another dress shop for the first time looking at gowns and it wasn't a great experience. I left feeling a little dejected. I then decided to book another appointment with Novelle and it was the best decision ever.

Walking into the beautiful store felt like a dream. I had sent the consultant a few pictures of dresses that I had liked off the website, but the dress I chose in the end was a gorgeous gown that the consultant picked out for me. As soon as I had it on I knew it was the one. I felt like I was on Say Yes to the Dress! My Mom and I even had tears. 

I've always dreamed of getting married at the Banff Springs Hotel. The gorgeous castle in the mountains was the perfect place to marry the love of my life. We had the wedding of our dreams and thanks to the miracle of COVID vaccinations we were able to celebrate with our family and friends. I felt like a princess marrying my prince in my incredible gown. Now we are preparing to live our happily ever after together.
