Novelle /Raphy Meiser Photoshoot
From our fabulous Bridal Consultant, Nina:
I’ve been part of the Novelle Bridal team for just over a year now, and I can honestly say I have one of the most rewarding jobs in the world. Being invited into such an important chapter of a bride’s life is something I’ll never take for granted. Helping someone find the dress they’ll wear on one of the most meaningful days of their life is so much more than just a job, it’s a privilege.

Over the past year, I’ve learned so much about bridal fashion, but even more importantly, I’ve learned how special this experience is for every bride who walks through our doors. Every appointment is filled with excitement, emotion, and unforgettable memories, and being a small part of those moments makes me feel incredibly lucky.

About a month ago, I had the opportunity to experience the bridal world from a completely different perspective. I was invited to be part of a styled photoshoot alongside my own partner, and for the first time, I got to experience what it feels like to wear a wedding gown in a real bridal setting. Although we aren't engaged just yet, it felt like a beautiful glimpse into our future and what our own wedding day might look like. It was emotional, joyful, and honestly a little surreal.

We were surrounded by the most wonderful team, led by the incredibly talented Raphy Meiser. Her creative vision brought the entire shoot to life and created an atmosphere that felt both inspiring and effortless. My boyfriend and I had never modeled before, but thanks to Raphy and everyone involved, we felt completely at ease. Their encouragement and warmth allowed us to simply enjoy the moment together.

The setting couldn't have been more perfect. Aldergrove Pond House was absolutely breathtaking, peaceful, intimate, and filled with so much natural beauty. It was the kind of venue that instantly makes you imagine saying "I do."
One of the highlights for me was wearing one of my favourite gowns in our collection: Olive by Willowby. Seeing the entire bridal look come together, from the dress to the hair, makeup, and florals, was such an incredible experience. It felt like my two worlds were coming together: the job I love and the person I love most.

Even though I was technically there for work, it didn't feel like work at all. It felt like falling in love all over again. We found ourselves getting unexpectedly emotional throughout the day, and by the end of the shoot, our cheeks hurt from smiling so much. It's an experience we'll never forget, and one that made us even more excited for the day we get to do it for real. Until then, I'll continue cherishing every moment I get to spend helping our brides find the dress that makes them feel exactly the way I felt that day, beautiful, confident, and completely in love.
