Novelle bride Brooke was lucky enough to find her dream bridal gown at one of our Sample Sales! She got married in a gorgeous small outdoor ceremony this year so we just had to share her story: 

"We met the Summer after I graduated High School, working at a golf course. I knew he was something special immediately. The first day I saw him I thought he was the most handsome man I'd ever seen. After we talked that first day I was already head over heels for him. He was hilarious, strong in his faith and a hard worker. I went home that day and told my Mom that I'd met the man I'd marry. Funny story: he was also once of my sister's good friends at the time. When I asked her what she thought of him, she said he was one of the kindest people she knew. 

He proposed on our favourite walk in the city, just a few days after our four year anniversary. We had our first kiss and he'd given me a promise ring on the same walk just a few years earlier. 

I saw the Ella dress on the Made With Love bridal Instagram page and after looking up other brides who had worn the dress, I knew it was the one. I never wanted a traditional wedding dress. I wanted something incredibly unique and bohemian. The Ella dress was the perfect fit! When I saw that Novelle carried the brand I had to try them on in store. My experience was fantastic! I tried on several dresses and my stylist was very patient. I ended up buying the Ella at the sample sale so it was the perfect price and the perfect dress! 

We got married on July 5th, 2020 at Hillside Acres wedding venue just outside of Camrose. Due to COVID-19, we postponed our large reception until next year and decided to hold a small outdoor ceremony. An hour before the ceremony a huge thunderstorm came through, and lightening even struck the property! However, everyone was happy to wait it out and when the storm passed we had the most beautiful evening."
