"My husband, Jordan and I, met through mutual friends. We chatted for about a month before he finally asked me out to a movie. It was last minute (exactly 15 minutes before the late show started) I barely had time to get ready to impress haha! But I though, if I didn't take the invite, I may not get another one. There really wasn't any good movie at the time. We decided on Madagascar 3 and ended up being the only ones there so we got to chat the whole time. Afterwards, we went driving around. I don't think I got home until 3 in the morning that night. I couldn't stop smiling and thinking how handsome this guy was. After that night, we became almost inseparable. 

We dated for about 6 and a half years, and he proposed to me on February 18th, 2019 at the dog park with a sign around our rescue dog, Gracie. She was so excited and it was the cutest thing ever!! We set our wedding date for September 12, 2020. 

Soon after we were engaged, I booked an appointment at Novelle Bridal! They were the first shop I called after finding a dress that I had seen on Pinterest. I was over the moon that they had it!! The day of the appointment that dress was waiting for me. We picked out probably 12 more to try and they were all gorgeous but did not compare to the one I had set my eyes on. And wow! It really was THE ONE! Novelle Bridal made the shopping experience calm and relaxed. It's a beautiful shop- Jessica was a dream - thank you! I loved the high ceilings and how glamorous I felt going there. 10/10! 

Our wedding day was magical! It turned out 100 times better than we expected. I mean, we knew it was obviously going to be great, but it was more than that! Our parents worked really hard at setting up the perfect venue in their yard.

Originally we were set to get married in a church but when COVID came our plans changed so many times that we decided to have a small, intimate backyard wedding. And wow!! It was honestly a blessing in disguise. We had the most genuine and amazing time. LOVED every single minute. I think just from the pictures you can tell how amazing it was- that's thanks to our incredible photographer, Taylor Olivia Photography.

Our nieces were the cutest flower girls and junior bridesmaid. Gracie our rescue pup did so good! She loved it too. Our wedding party was our dear friends and siblings. It was just the best and I'm still smiling!"
