Kenyenne & Riley

After meeting through mutual friends, Novelle Bride Kenyenne and her now husband Riley had their dream wedding with all of the boho vibes! We are so happy we were able to help Kenyenne find her dream dress that stayed true to her style and personality- so we asked her to share her wonderful story: 

"Riley and I met through our best friends. My best friend Taylor started dating her now fiance Nate, who is Riley's best friend, and they had introduced us! We had met briefly one evening, but our romance didn't begin until a May Long camping trip. Fast forward three years to our anniversary, when Riley proposed in the mountains in Banff! It truly was so beautiful and I couldn't have asked for a better surprise or a better man.

Once I started all the planning for the wedding one of my first big appointments was finding my dress. A good friend of mine, Lacey- who was one of my bridesmaids- told me about Novelle. She had just gotten married and found her dress at Novelle too! She said that this was the nicest bridal store by far, and that I needed to go find my dress at their store! All of the things she had said and raved about were all true! Novelle is truly such a beautiful store with the most gorgeous dresses and the sweetest staff. All of the ladies were so wonderful and kind. I had the pleasure of having Diana as my consultant, and she truly made my "say yes to the dress" fantasies come true! If it weren't for her picking out my dress I probably would never have found my dream gown. She had found the dress that really spoke to my personality and style (all the boho vibes!), and  completed one of the biggest excitements of wedding planning- finding my dress! I can't thank her enough. I also had help from Jessica when I came into Novelle to look at some accessories, and she helped me find and decide on the most gorgeous head piece. She was so sweet. I couldn't rave about my experience with Novelle enough and I feel very lucky to have had my dress experience there.

Our wedding day was on August 17th, 2019 and the day turned out absolutely perfect. They were calling for rain, but the weather Gods turned everything around and it was clear skies and sunshine. I don't think I could pick just one moment that was my favourite or most memorable. The whole day was our favourite. Seeing all of our loved ones come together to celebrate our day and love was pure magic. It was a day filled with a whirlwind of emotions and we wish we could relive our day on repeat. As corny as it may sound it truly felt like a fairy tale as it fulfilled all my girly childhood dreams and Rom Com fantasies! August 17th, 2019 will always be our favourite day!"
