"Ryan and I met over 6 years ago on a blind date. It was something out of a 90s romantic comedy. Two complete strangers, wine and pizza, and unexpected love at first sight. We were inseparable after that night. Three years later, Ryan proposed at the top of a volcano in Maui. 

After watching my sister in law pick out her dream dress at Novelle, I knew it would be my first stop for my own dream wedding dress. My experience, like hers, was nothing short of fantastic. From the second I walked in  the door I felt like the most important bride in the world.

My bridesmaids were able to help me pull dresses and our consultant Jessica helped me find styles that I loved and provided suggestions along the way. I didn't expect to be one of those brides that cried when I found my dress but well....I sure did. I knew the dress was exactly what Ryan would want to see me in and I finally felt like a true bride wearing the Bruna by Theia. It was simple, timeless and perfectly me. 

My experience with Novelle went far beyond the purchase of my dress. Due to COVID, I scheduled and rescheduled and rescheduled my fitting appointments over one and a half years. The patience and kindness of the Novelle team blew me away. They never once made me feel like a burden and they were so flexible with me during the ever changing wedding plans and on-going restrictions. 

The journey to our wedding day was filled with ups and downs. After not one, not two, but three wedding dates, two venues, and three lockdowns, we decided to ditch our original plans and move our wedding to Jasper. We were finally married on May 29th, 2021 at the Jasper Park Lodge, surrounded by our family, overlook the beautiful Lake Beauvert. 

Following the ceremony, we spent the day taking photos at our favourite spots around Jasper, enjoyed an incredible dinner on our cabin patio overlooking the lake and the mountains, and we topped off our perfect day with smores around the campfire with our family. It was the wedding we never dreamed of and yet it was more than we could have ever hoped for. "
