One of the best trends that has appeared in bridal over the past few years is the mismatched bridesmaid look. It enables you to highlight each individual girl’s personality and ensure that everybody looks and feels amazing! With their gorgeous sequin patterns and array of colours and textures, these gowns make it easy to nail this look time and time again. It can be a tricky thing to navigate, so here are our tips on creating a cohesive and elegant mismatched bridal party.

Firstly, pick a hue and blend colour tones from there. After the vibrant colours and jewel tones that we saw in Fall/Winter, Spring/Summer 2018’s colour trend is a lot more serene with soft blues, silvers and nudes – perfect for this look! And it’s all about balance. Don’t be afraid of going a few shades lighter or darker than your main tone as it only enriches the aesthetic. What really makes it however is mixing in prints and sparkle! And who says you should only do one? Go bold and let your bridesmaids pick their favourites and as long as you stick to the colour palette it should all come together beautifully.
