But who are these designers? We are going to take you behind the scenes on how these gorgeous dresses are made, and show the love and detail that goes into each and every hand made gown, right here in Canada. 

Founded in 1937, the family owned designers Mikaela & Paloma Blanca still produce all of their gorgeous dresses by hand in their hometown of Toronto, ON. The factory where they make their gowns also acts as the head office, allowing them to keep a close eye on production to ensure that each and every gown meets their high standards of quality. Their passion for the art of dressmaking is apparent in all aspects of their business, with each dress being made with passion, skill and fabrics of the highest quality. They offer the look, feel and elegance of couture gowns at a very attractive price point. 

We adore these designers for their simple yet striking designs, using modern lace, and sleek, simple silhouettes to highlight every bride who wears them. We love their drive to stay ahead of the latest fashion trends, finding the most beautiful fabrics for their designs (one of their favourite suppliers is from Japan!) and the care and attention that goes into the delicate embroidery.
