2020 Bridal Trends

12/16/19 EVENTS NEWS

Each bridal season we see a change in style trends! Last year it was all about the grandeur and classic feel of a Royal wedding influence. As we're coming into the new year, we've definitely noticed a few fabulous style features across our designers that are a nod to this look, yet with a modern twist. Here's what to expect from our designers for the upcoming season!

*****

Square Necklines

We love this trend! For years bridal has been dominated by V-neck and sweetheart cuts - this is the ultra-modern update on something so simple. The clean line of a square cut neck is also super flattering, as it highlights your collar bone and is effortlessly elegant.

Light & Airy Skirts

Gone are the days of expecting to wear a heavy, uncomfortable dress on your wedding day. This season, there is a noticeably lighter look and feel to gowns, with unique pleats and layering for that cotton candy airy feel. Whether it's a barely there sheath, or simplified ballgown, there's something for everybody.

Vintage Flutter Sleeves

Long sleeves are no longer dominating the bridal gown- enter 70's -inspired flutter sleeves. Whether it's soft lace, flowing chiffon or glittering tulle, we've seen many versions of this soft and romantic trend that anybody can wear!

Long Live Crepe

Don't worry ladies, for those of you who still crave simple, clean lines and minimalist detailing, the figure-flattering crepe gowns aren't going anywhere. In fact, we are seeing more exciting tailoring, necklines and design features in multiple silhouettes than ever before. Striking in their simplicity, we adore each of these gowns.

Glitter and Unique Lace

So. Much. SPARKLE! We are loving that designers are incorporating more ways to add a little glitter to their gowns. Whether it's a soft shimmer, or being covered in crystals, we are seeing more fun ways to sparkle on your big day. Our favourites are paired with bold, unique lace designs, with lots of celestial and floral inspired pieces.

These are just a few of the beautiful trends for our future brides. What would you like to see for next season ladies?
